(In Modern Anarchism... Obscure Political Differences Have You)

A random thought. What's absolutely hilarious is that Individualist Anarchists spend all their energy working out the nitty gritty details of how society should function, whereas the Social Anarchists spend all their energy working out the nitty gritty details of how individuals should function.

That is to say Social Anarchists are almost entirely preoccupied with their own individual moral conscience, whereas Individualist Anarchists are almost entirely preoccupied with the machinations of society.

I go to the Social Anarchists when I want someone else who really understands what it's like to strive to make oneself a better individual, free from constructs of oppression. Whereas I go to the Individualist Anarchists when I want someone else who really understands the cultural, economic and judicial interplay that goes on in free societies.

Ah... good times.
